Massive congratulations to our 2014 Girls team on an incredible, hard fought weekend!

These young athletes showed heart, determination, and resilience as they battled through a highly competitive slate of games. They came out strong, winning their first two bracket matches before facing a tough challenge against Harlingen, falling 3–2. That loss marked their first since the team was formed back in May 2025 an astonishing run of 19 wins and 0 losses prior to that moment.

But champions are defined by how they respond and this team responded in a BIG way.

Advancing to the Final Four with everything on the line, the girls faced Harlingen once again and proved exactly who they are, earning a hard fought 2–1 victory to punch their ticket to the State Final.

With little more than an hour to recover, they stepped right back onto the field for the Western District Championship match and left it all out there. Through grit, teamwork, and pure will, they secured a 1–0 victory to be crowned WESTERN DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!

Five games in one weekend is no small task, but these girls showed what’s possible when hard work, commitment, and belief come together. They’ve proven to themselves and everyone watching that their dedication in training truly pays off.

And the journey isn’t over yet.

Now, they set their sights on the ultimate prize as they advance to compete for the State Title.
